HELL ENERGY wins international award

July 11, 2018, Budapest – Every year since 2006, the leading British business magazine ACQ5 has given an award to extraordinary businesses, organizations, executives, and private individuals from all over the world, based on reader votes.  In 2018 the 100% Hungarian-owned HELL ENERGY Hungary Kft. received this prestigious award after being voted the best manufacturing company in Europe.

Every year the ACQ5 magazine surveys its nearly 200,000 readers, whose votes are used to select the recipients of the ACQ Global Awards.  This year a record number of votes was cast, since the editors counted 98,621 votes, an unprecedented number in the history of the magazine.  The votes were cast by various company executives, entrepreneurs, and employees of prominent companies, not a small jury panel, making this an even more significant recognition.

“We are extremely honored to be able to work with the most influential and daring companies, and to be able to share their messages with our readers.  One of the goals of our award is to introduce people to the leaders of this sector, the best companies, and those organizations whose example can serve as a reference in the private sector.  This year, we awarded companies representing every important market in the world,” said Jake Robson, editor of the ACQ5 group.

In 2018, ACQ5 readers voted HELL ENERGY Hungary the Manufacturing company of the year in Europe in the above 100 million euro revenue category.  To date no Hungarian company was able to win in this category, and only four Hungarian companies have won an award, in the financial and legal categories.  This prestigious award was thanks to the corporate group’s factory complex: the HELL ENERGY’s plant in Sikszó, which is among the most modern factories on the continent.  Shortly after production began in 2012, the plant was selected as one of Europe’s Top 3 factories by the Strategic Manufacturing Awards, and since then development has not ceased.  In addition to the initial aluminum can production line, two other, even larger performance factory lines were added, incorporating technology rom outstanding German manufacturers (Krones, KHS).  The latest can filling line built in 2018 is one of the most modern in the world in hygiene and filling-technology, and in speed is one of the fastest filling lines in Central Europe, with a capacity of 120,000 cans per hour.  Through this the plant’s total daily capacity expanded to 4.5 million cans.  In 2013, PET bottle manufacturing was added to the capacity, which is filled by the corporate group’s drink brand, XIXO.

The company group’s mission is efficiency and exceptional quality, which means HELL ENERGY Hungary’s Szikszó plant undergoes constant development: this year it will add an automated high warehouse, capable of taking 32,000 pallets, fully automated, storing and retrieving selected goods without touching any human hand,.  The 30 meter tall high warehouse is connected with 10 docking gates, where pallets selected by the system for shipping are placed onto trucks.
